This may seem trivial, and perhaps naive on my part, but since statins are a coenzyme A reductase INHIBITOR, could coenzyme A supplementation help?
Adec/Biologist/Pgrimm - I would love to have your thoughts along these lines, since it appears that each of you have become well versed in the biochemistry of statin damage.
