What we all should be after here is the most truthful, effective guidance on health, nutrition, and medical support. Here is where that guidance, and best results can be found: Dr. John McDougall's website -- he has 35 years of very successful medical and educational achievements.

I gave a list of many other healthy lifestyle experts. A key one is Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn - Goggle his name and get his guidance that has helped seriously diseased heart patients recover -- and most are still alive after 25 years! Google "The Healthy Librarian" -- she participated in Ess's clinic and is a great writer in summarizing the course.

I will say this one more time, your quack theories do no good to anyone who has been damaged by Statins, vegetables are good as part of a healthy diet along with eggs, butter milk and meat. Vegetables alone are not sufficient to provide people with the nutrients etc that their bodies require, you have heard it all before and we have heard your beliefs and opinions too many times already, so for goodness sake tell it to the rabbits as they are more likely to agree with your opinions.

Maule: First let me say I have no wish to debate the subject of diet. I feel the subject matter is unrelated to our primary focus here which is not dietetic nor diet as it relates to general health, but more specific and remedial due to the damage already done by these drugs. You must realize by now that this audience does not value your contributions, well-intentioned as they may be, and I'm sure you have other, more appreciative forums elsewhere.

Statins-damaged people got that way by poisoning their circulatory system, first with their bad diets, then with statin medicines.

Dr. Graveline needs to devote energy and analysis to the very important subject of BEST NUTRITION FOR THE HUMAN BODY, not what he found to best give weight loss to pilots when he was an Air Force doctor.

And, yes, all of us are different in what foods we need to avoid -- and the "Elimination Diet," even medically-monitored fasting (I have not paid attention to the fasting regimen) can help find food culprits to avoid.

You do not need to go all raw, though that did make it very quick and dramatic! Note that the 30 days program was conducted by medical people. The reversal is for Type 2 diabetes, though note that two of the six people were considered to be ~ Type 1, and one of them got off of insulin!! and the other reduced his daily dose from 70 units to 5 units!
