Great to see they are a little timid (I won't say rueful) about their misrepresentations, but just, dang it, they STILL sold nearly $13,000,000,000.00 worth of Lipitor in 2007, and that's only ONE of these poisons. It is so frustrating at times!

I have NEVER been able to stand those commercials, even before the truth came out about them. I laughed and rejoiced when I saw that they were pulling those ads!

The thing to remember about Pfizer is that their atorvostatin patent runs out in two years. Their strategy then must be to maintain sales up to that point using every tactic they can get away with - or not for all they care.
As soon as that patent expires all the nasty stuff about their product will suddenly appear in the media to cause maximum harm to generic manufacturers seeking to take over production.

However, their plan has gone awry in that they have failed to come up with a successor product so hence their lay-off of research staff. The patentable molecule business model is bust.
